Privacy policy
Last updated September 2026.
Bill Foundation TZ collects personal information only so that we can do the work people ask of us: contacting volunteers, thanking donors, answering messages and organising outreach events.
What we collect
- Contact details you enter into our forms — name, phone number, email address, and anything you write in a message.
- Membership details submitted through our Google registration form, which is stored in Google Workspace and accessible only to foundation coordinators.
- Donation records: the mobile money or bank reference, amount and date, kept for accounting and receipts.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not share donor or volunteer details with third parties except where the law requires it. This website does not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling.
Photographs
We photograph our outreaches to report honestly on the work. We ask permission before photographing adults, and we ask the guardian or centre manager before photographing a child. Anyone can ask us to remove a photograph and we will do so.
How long we keep information
Volunteer and member records are kept while the relationship is active and for two years afterwards. Financial records are kept for seven years, as required for accounting.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete your details. Write to billfoundationtz@gmail.com or call +255 694 421 010.
